Hello, I'm new to this having only purchased my yaris a week ago.
The car I have is a 2000 w reg, gs model.

The upper part of the bumper at the minute is not colour coded.

I was wondering if I would be able to buy other bumpers and fit them to mine so they are colourcoded.

I have seen this bumper on ebay for the rear - Click
Could you please let me know if this will replace the existing top part and still fit fine with the bottom part of the rear bumper.

And could you let me know if the prniciple will be the same for the front bumper.

Many Thanks, Matt.

hia mate welcome to the club first of all.

As far as colour coding the grey plastic bumpers already on the car, it can be done but a body shop will usuall charge a bit more to do than a normal pre-coloured bumper due to the texture, also from the many places i have enquired at, they DO NOT offer a guarantee on the paintwork because of the type of material. A stone chip can get in, crack the paint and then it can start flaking off. Hence main reason why mine has been the same for years, waiting on a certain someone (ADAM!) to get me their bumper so i can colour code that and get a guarantee from the body shop next door to me :)

also, what part of west midlands are you from? i am in coventry, also if you give this number a ring: 07973138080 his name is Danny In. He is in coventry near the ricoh arena and breaks toyota's has a load of yaris parts so if you want a bumper or this and that you can go to him, reasonable prices too and can haggle a bit cheers!

Many thanks for the quick replies people :)

Do you reckon the link that i have posted will fit onto my model of car as i have an older car but i prefer the facelift bumpers so i would like to do a conversion.

Or is my best option to get them colourcoded? Any rough prices to have front and rear sprayed

Many thanks

Phase 2 bumpers will bolt straight on to your Phase 1. Spraying will cost somewhere between £40 and £60 for a bumper, but if your getting the pair done, may be cheaper.

spraying on a textured bumper will cost anything up to £130 per bumper. The facelift bumpers will bolt straight on but on the front you will have a little gap between the bumper and the headlights where a 'tear drop' is on the p2 lights. If you are getting it all sprayed, the body shop should be able to fill this gap in easy enough and not much extra charge.

I think im just going to stick with phase 1 bumpers, just get them colour coded. £130 seems a bit pricey though :(

Aidan is getting his front and rear bumpers, TTE spoiler, pair of option side skirts and JDM lip painted for less than £200.
