PCV Valve Replacement

You'll need: 


You need: New PCV valve, 19mm deep socket, a wrench, 10mm socket, pliers (optional)

One of the simplest DIY's and one of the most overlooked.

Suggested replacement is every 12,000 miles

Use the 10mm socket to remove the engine cover

Locate the PCV hose running to the top right corner of the valve cover

Squeeze the metal hose fitting and slide it back.

Then pull the hose off the PCV valve

Use the 19mm deepsocket to unscrew the PCV valve

Screw in the new PCV valve by hand then tighten it with the socket.

Put the hose back on, and the metal hose fitting

Put the engine cover on and you're done
