Removing a Headlight from a 1999 - 2005 Yaris by Andrew
Tools Needed:
* 10mm Socket and Spanner
* Philips Screw Driver
* Flat Head Screw Driver
* Pliers
Start by Opening the Bonnet.

First off, remove the two bolts circled in red with either a Philips Screwdriver or 10mm spanner.
Next off, remove the bolt circled with a 10mm spanner, this is holding the wheel arch liner to the bumper.
Then remove this bolt directly below the bonnet latch with a 10mm socket and spanner, and dont drop the nut down into the bumper and loose it!
Now you need to get a flat head screw driver to prise this clip up, its keeping the headlight in place.
Now with both sides of the bumper unbolted, you need to gently but firmly push the bumper rearwards and upwards until you feel it pop off its mount, then push it forwards and down until the clip pops out like so.
This can be a little bit awkward and its easy to scratch your paint so be careful!
With the bumper clips exposed like so, lastly prise this clip upwards to release the bumper fully. This clip is right in front of the headlight one, dont get them confused.
your bumper should come gently forward about this far.
If you look closely you can see a push in clip marked 'x' in red, this is at the corner where the wing, bumper and headlight meet, you can push that out with a flat head screw driver, its the last thing holding your headlight in.
The last thing left to do is unplug your bulbs circled here, the indicator can be a right bugger to get off. Use a small flat head screw driver to prise down the clip then just used brute force and ignorance to pull it apart.
Hey presto! its out!
