Red Lip Done

Last night i enlisted the help of Blitz to do my red lip on my wheels, here are the results:

The Tape glows when light is on it, a sort of orangey red colour.

Yeah, after i came out the cinema at like midnight last night, the light made it so you could see 2 orange rings lol

Certainly does glow! Looks top notch if you ask me, although those dirty arch liners and black bumpers still need sorting!

Yeah when its colour coded im also planning on smoothing the boot + bonnet so should be a looker lol

Remove the boot handle too? Or colour code it? Coloured coded mirrors? I was about to say door handles after looking at your avi, but then saw your sig!

Remove the handle and have a boot popper.

Colour code the mirrors aswell.

And i sprayed handles myself

unfortunately Fisher said to do it to mine instead of buying some alloys that look similar but i dont think that it will be done anytime soon.

They do Woody yeah! :) This is proper 3M good stuff. It's the only stuff I've ever found that will stick to satin powder coat so it's good! :thumbsup:

Saweet! Quick questions, price? I guess it comes on like a roll? One enough for 4 x 15" wheels?

O and sorry forgot to say, red lip looks good! Maybe red calipers would look cool too or maybe too much?

Comes on a roll, with an applicator (but dont use it lol). Costs about £8 (bit of a rip off but hey). Enough to do 4 19" wheels. :thumbsup:

Cheers mate you're a legend! Tbh I'd pay £8 when the time comes to save hassle of ordering online etc. Thinking satin black wheels with yellow lip for the 5 btw (if anyones interested :p).

Nah red calipers would suck arse. Be overkill and its too common. Keep them black.

Agree with jason red calipers is a no go. Looks great with the nuts and lip and car colour but anymore would be too much.

Yeah fair enough, like I said it may be overkill. Personally I wouldn't have gone for coloured nuts as I dont think they really work that well as a colour match in red. Other colour anodized nuts seem ok but red always come out pink :(
